Yep. Done that! (hmm…I’m an only child too…)

And then, a restaurant reviewer’s son used to say, upon exiting a restaurant that had served them a bad meal, ” Well…we never have to do THAT again!”

I’m a firm believer in posting about my mistakes! I did so today!

It’s absolutely hysterical to me now, but not so funny in Kroger or sitting down to eat it. Too bad there’s no video…or maybe that’s a good thing. 😉

Thanks for the tip! I really do want to make this again. I’m determined to do it right this time.

Luckily the recap was hysterical so you must see the humor in it by now 😉 Thanks for sharing the good, bad and the ugly 😉

so, the potatoes — next time, if you cut potatoes too early or you need to prep potatoes for the next day, to keep them from browning, keep them covered in cold water and they won’t turn brown 🙂 last week, I cut potatoes for guinness beef stew (i like our brains) and had them covered overnight in cold water and they were still beautiful in the morning 🙂 hope that helps!

Good idea with St. Patty’s Day coming up! I should make it then, too, and try to redeem myself. Plus I know I can get short ribs in Nashville. 😉
