In reply to Risa. Hi Risa! It mostly makes the cookies moist and chewy. Depending on the other flavors in your cookies, it can add flavor as well. In this particular recipe it didn't add much of the cheesecake flavor. Hope that helps!

These look so pleasing. Does the pudding mix simply add a flavor element or is there something else it does behind the scenes? Of course I’ve seen it used in cookies many times before but I haven’t figured out the purpose exactly.

I had a bite before I knew what they were* and I didn’t taste cheesecake, either. But Mr. Eats and Mini Eats loved them. 🙂

*Snickers=chocolate + peanuts (noooooo!)

Mmmmmmm, cheesecake and snickers are some of my favorite things!! These are going on my “to bake” list. And I love how they are doing all the candy bars in mini form now with no wrappers. I mean, it’s dangerous for me, but easy when you want to bake with them.

Snickers? Cheesecake? Pudding? Cookies?! That’s like 4 desserts in 1! I love snickers, they’re the first candy bar I gobble up from my halloween stash. I’ve never made pudding cookies before. Does it make them really soft and chewy?
